I seem to have more power outages while playing my PS4, is this a coincidence or could the PS4 actually be causing a surge or something and tripping something?

I don't play my PS4 that often but when I do the power in the house seems to cut out at a much higher rate for a couple of seconds. It happens once every couple of months or so but when I play the Playstation it seems to happen almost every time. Has anyone else had an issue like this and is it even possible for my Playstation to be causing this to happen?
