So this weekend my PS4 started making that clickety-clickety noise that signals impending drive failure and sure enough it refused to boot up saying system storage could not be accessed.
I'm guessing a replacement is the only way to go here, is it possible to get my saved games out somehow? Connecting the drive to a computer via USB? Given the clicking sound I'd suppose the drive is completely unreadable but it might be worth a try if I could get my Horizon save out at least.
Also, why is this still a thing in 2017? Saves should be backed up by default.
