Thoughts?
What I'm talking about is, have an option for certain games to completely disable their online connection while I still stay online for PSN features such as messenger, downloads ect.
For example, Ubisoft games often connect you right away without permission even if you want to play singleplayer. In Wildlands, you need to wait until you're connected and I have disconnection errors occasionally which gives me an in-game popup. I'm playing alone damnit, I don't care! Don't even get me started on EA games.
I know, I can always temporarily disable internet connection in the network section but I want games/updates to download in the background. Whenever I play a pure sibgleplayer game with no stupid online connections, my downloads are fine but when I want to play a game which automatically connects online in the meantime, it's pointless to even bother with the download.
I know the developers are to blame when they force you to be online in a singleplayer game, but Sony sure could do something about it.
Thoughts? I hope I was clear enough, if you don't understand then feel free to ask what I mean :p
