Please help! Can't load a disc and makes awful sound.

Hey Everyone. My son's PS4 Slim was working great and then on Saturday a game wouldn't come out. We did the manual eject and it didn't help. So we left the system on its side for like 2 hours and it worked. The disc came out. But now it's making a bad sound when we boot up and it will not take a disc. Any ideas?
