Since last week my PS4 has been consistently crashing when I play Rainbow 6: Siege. It crashes after about 25 minutes of playing. Sometimes it crashes and says game file is corrupt, but a majority of the time it causes the entire ps4 to lock up and has to be hard reset. Since last week I have tried many things to attempt to fix it. I have had many conversations with ubisoft trying to find a cause of the issues and they have been little to no help.
I have rebuilt PS4 database, Deleted all game saves and data and then redownloaded the game (have done this 3 times) since last week. Nothing has changed the outcome even a little bit. Odd thing is Rainbow six siege is the only game causing my ps4 to crash/freeze.
I am at a loss on what to do, my wife and I usually play R6 with friends together and since last week I have been unable to play for longer that 25 minutes at a time,I feel like I'm losing my mind cause I consider myself pretty tech savvy and nothing I have tried has worked or even made an impact.
At this point all I have left to do is to completely erease the ps4(really don't wanna do that cause I have a data cap) or buy a new ps4
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
