Hey, I purchased a PS4 Pro today and ran into a couple of issues. I've read about them but have not seen many recent updates at all. I'm hoping some of you may be able to help with that.
I've got a Dell U2515H monitor, 2K resolution at 60fps over HDMI 1.4 or DP 1.2. When connecting the PS4, 2160p was greyed out, as was HDR. I stumbled across a fix which requires booting into safe mode and disabling some feature. However, this did not make any difference and I am still unable to use my PS4 in 2k.
I've read that Sony initially supported such resolutions over HDM 1.4 but stopped in around November. Have there been any updates recently? Or maybe some of you know of another workaround I may try.
I'm using the HDMI cable supplied with the PS4 Pro, directly into my monitor. Pretty bummed that I'm stuck with 1080p.
