So, I own a launch day PS4 this has been plagued with the "disc eject" problem for about a year. After attempting all sorts of solutions from Sony and from all of you, I finally gave up the battle and am sending it in to Sony for service. Obviously, it is long out of warranty, so I paid ~$100 or so for them to "fix" it.
Question for the group is, if you've sent your PS4 in for service, what was the outcome? How many got your own console back vs. a refurbished system vs. a new system? Also, since my PS4 is a launch day edition, CUH-1001A, what's the likelihood of getting a newer model?
Thanks!
