Ride 2 online - how to gain credits?

Can you gain creduits reaching the first three places in the races online? Cause my Brother would both play with me and gain the credits for buy other bikes, he just started the game, do you know Also how MUCH credits gains the first One? I dont think that is Like 10k as the Expert races ..
