I got HZD a few days ago, even though I am not at all a fan of RPGs, I seen it on sale digital for £30, and I watched some videos and the game world looked really nice and lush... which I like. I do like (some) open world stuff... and even looting. I also like trophy hunting. The menu is pretty complicated, crafting etc. Don't like that part.
I am not really paying heed to the storyline, never do, but I finally got past what could be considered the intro section of the game, got made a Seeker. I got a new Sharpshooter bow and bullet time/slow motion perk.
I shot a wild hog that nearly got away in the back, from a distance with an arrow - then I caught and electrocuted one of those robot horses with the Tripcaster as it was chasing me down. Both very exhilarating, I can now say the game "clicked" for me.
So my question is how does Witcher 3 compare, gameplay-wise?
-
How does the bow & arrow/hunting feel?
-
Is there bullet time/slow motion?
-
Can the story/cut scenes be skipped?
-
How is the stealth/stalking?
Witcher 3 was always a tiny bit on my radar because the potential gameplay, but fell off my radar because it's an RPG. Now that I loving HZD (gameplay only), would I enjoy Witcher for the same reasons?
Not looking to buy until I complete HZD though.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.
