Star Wars BF2.. Am I crazy or does original Star Wars BF have way better graphics and just more fun?

I can't believe I'm thinking this but man, I can't quite put my finger on it but SWBF2 graphics are bad and sloppy looking and it's just not a fun game at all. I remember being more impressed with the original Battlefront than this. Thoughts?
