What's a better way to connect my external speakers? I'm currently just running an aux cable from my speakers to my controller.

Any assistance is well appreciated. I'm currently using my audioengine a2+ speakers, but I'm only using them by running an aux cable from my speakers to my controller. What's a more optimal way of using my external speakers, rather than just connecting to my controller?
