Purchased add-on on PS Store, everything crashes after purchase was made and my PS4 Pro goes haywire and crashes. Open up my game and add-on isn't there.

Why is it that my PS4 Pro acts the way it does? The home screen is always super laggy, store takes ages to open, all around it's just failing me. And now this. I am out $20 because of this, tech support is closed since it's 2130 where I'm at and I demand a refund. Should I just get rid of the Pro and get a normal PS4? My cousin has an original and it works perfectly fine.
