Modem keeps restarting whenever I turn my playstation on

I was just wondering if anyone had any troubleshooting advice for me.

The past week or so, whenever I turn my PS4 on (from rest mode), my modem (from centurylink) resets. The DSL light will go blank and then slowly blink until it resets. I was wondering if it's a modem problem, or a problem with my ps4...
